Race organized by Heartland Community Health Center — Kansas Half Marathon. Distance: Half marathon /5K /children’s0.3mile. Pace and participation: November 1, 2026: 5K at 7 AM CST, half at 7:10 AM, free children's run at 9 AM on the west side of South Park (about 0.3 miles, no preregistration). Current 2026 packet gives race-day pickup from 5:45 AM at South Park, 1141 Massachusetts, and no race-day registration. Friday October 30 pickup/late entry 4–7 PM and Saturday October 31 noon–5 PM at Ad Astra Running, 835 Massachusetts. Use the current packet's 1141 address and 5:45 AM pickup; the FAQ still lists 1200 Massachusetts. Public parking on Vermont/New Hampshire and the 900-block garage; downtown parking free Sundays. Half runners need 16-minute miles (3:30 finish) to stay on roads; slower runners may use sidewalks. Strollers start at back; headphones must allow hearing instructions. November 1 is the DST change day: these starts are CST, not CDT.
